Efficient Mixing Technology for the Paper Industry – Homogeneous Coating Slurries with High Solid Content

Kniele mixing systems offer the ideal solution for demanding mixing tasks in the pulp and paper industry, especially in the preparation of pigment-based coating formulations for paper surface finishing.

Powdered pigments are drawn into the liquid via the KNIELE system’s Trombe (in co-rotating mode) and then efficiently dispersed using counter-rotating mixing technology. The process ensures fast, lump-free incorporation even at extremely high solid contents of up to 70%.

The result is a stable, homogeneous slurry with optimized rheological properties – essential for consistent coating quality.
