High product flexibility was the focus of this plant.
Depending on the quantity, the raw materials are delivered either in big bags, in sacks or by silo vehicle. A total of 3 big bag emptying stations, 4 silos and 1 bag emptier are connected upstream of the KNIELE cone mixer. In addition, small components can be fed by hand. The core of the dry mixing plant is a KKM 1000/1500 with 1m³ output. After mixing, the ready-mixed material can either be filled into a big bag, transported into a storage silo or packed into bags in a bagging plant. Truck loading has also been realised.
We wish our customer much success with the new plant and maximum flexibility in his products!
March 2022: Starting signal for a "light" building
Innovative products for construction not only make physical work easier, but also reduces construction time. With the commissioning of the new mixing plant from KNIELE in combination with a bagging plant from Haver&Boecker, our Austrian customer will be able to produce light plasters as bagged goods in the future.
The cement is conveyed from the silo, which is located outside the hall, into the KNIELE cone mixer KKM via a cement screw. The heart of the plant has an output of up to 375 kg per batch. Styrofoam is fed into the mixer via a pipe conveyor system and mixed with cement and a binding agent.
The big challenge here is to produce a homogeneous mixture of the "heavy" cement and the extremely light polystyrene balls. However, the KKM masters this task within a very short time, whereas other mixers would need several minutes or there would be no mixing at all!
Below the mixer, the material is stored in a pre-silo to continuously feed the Haver&Boecker packaging plant below.
